Warringah Chamber of Commerce receives grant to help small business
Dr Craig Emerson Minister for Small Business, Independent Contractors and the services economy
has announced round 2 funding for Small Business Advisory Service programs.
Warringah Chamber of Commerce & Industry was one of a few successful chambers.
Warringah Chamber of Commerce will offer free or low cost advisory services to local business throughout 2009 under this program.
Assistance will be available in the areas of:
· Business planning advice
· Simple marketing plans
· Accessing legal and accounting services
· Staffing – Selection, Motivating and productivity
· Government regulation – Forward with Choices
· Office Technology
The SBAS objective is to maximise the growth potential, prosperity and sustainability of small businesses through enhanced access to information and advice on issues important to sustaining and/or growing small business.
