Our guest speaker Paul Burges from Rogers Reidy has held a number of senior roles including:
• Financial Controller of Australia’s largest and most successful manufacturer of performance ‘cruiser/racer’ yachts,
• Financial Controller of the Australian subsidiary of New Zealand’s premier dairy products enterprise, and
• Chief Financial Officer of a highly successful German owned multinational mining equipment manufacturer with operations across Australia and Asia
Paul’s expertise in Insolvency & Reconstruction has been strengthened by his broad experiences in Commerce. His many years of experience, both in Public Practise and in Commerce, equip him with very solid technical skills and a wealth of commercial experience – this enables Paul to quickly come to grips with the central issues in dealing with a company in financial distress and in dealing with its directors, creditors and other stakeholders.
His ability to build and maintain a rapport with these stakeholders whilst working through the difficulties will enhance the outcome for all stakeholders.
